This edition of our newsletter followed the transition for the EVN Programme Committee (PC). As Zsolt Paragi concluded his term as Chair (since 1 August 2022) and Jack Radcliffe stepped into the role, they share their thoughts on recent developments within the EVN and what lies ahead.

The 1667/1665 MHz OH emission shows an unusual two-component 1667 MHz profile covering a velocity range from -250 kms-1 below to 400 kms-1 above the assumed systemic velocity of the host galaxy showing a systematic velocity gradient from west to east across the nuclear region.

The International VLBI Service (IVS) organised the 13th biennial Technical Operations Workshop (TOW 2025) held from May 4 to 8, 2025, locally organised by MIT Haystack Observatory. TOW is, in practice, essential for operators and stations new to operational VLBI, whether in geodesy, astronomy, or both.
