Standard EVN acknowledgement

Publications resulting from your EVN observations should carry the standard EVN acknowledgement:

The European VLBI Network is a joint facility of independent European, African, Asian, and North American radio astronomy institutes. Scientific results from data presented in this publication are derived from the following EVN project code(s): XXXXX

(Fill in the appropriate project codes at the end of this acknowledgement; the “project code” should be the 5-character code, without the final letter that distinguishes between multiple epochs and/or frequency bands, if applicable.)

OPTICON RadioNet Pilot:

If you have a project eligible for support via the OPTICON RadioNet Pilot TNA (trans-national access) program), please include the appropriate acknowledgement in papers, conference proceedings, etc. that result from the project.  This would cover eligible projects having observations in the time span March 2021 -- February 2025.

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No. 101004719 (OPTICON RadioNet Pilot).

RadioNet

If you have a project that is eligible for support via the RadioNet TNA program, would you please include the appropriate acknowledgement in papers, conference proceedings, etc. that result from the project:

Projects having observations in the time span 2017-2020:

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Commission Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No. 730562 (RadioNet).

Projects having observations in the time span 2012-2015:

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme (FP/2007-2013) under grant agreement No. 283393 (RadioNet3).

Projects having observations in the time span 2009-2011:

This work has been supported by the European Commission Framework Programme 7, Advanced Radio Astronomy in Europe, grant agreement No. 227290.

Projects having observations in the time span 2004-2008:

This work has benefited from research funding from the European Commission Sixth Framework Programme under RadioNet R113CT 2003 5058187.

Note that there was no RadioNet program for calendar year 2016. If you have a project whose observations cross the boundary between the RadioNet programmes, you should be able to use an abbreviated combination of the two relevant ones, such as the below for an experiment running from 2011-12:

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme (FP/2007-2013) under grant agreements No. 227290 (Advanced Radio Astronomy in Europe) and No. 283393 (RadioNet3).

e-MERLIN

Publications from observations including the e-MERLIN array should also include:

e-MERLIN is a National Facility operated by the University of Manchester at Jodrell Bank Observatory on behalf of STFC.

NEXPReS

Publications resulting from e-VLBI observations with the EVN should also carry the standard NEXPReS acknowledgement:

e-VLBI research infrastructure in Europe is supported by the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement number RI-261525 NEXPReS.

RadioAstron

Publications from observations including the RadioAstron orbiting antenna should also include:

The RadioAstron project is led by the Astro Space Center of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Lavochkin Scientific and Production Association under a contract with the Russian Federal Space Agency, in collaboration with partner organizations in Russian and other countries.
