 stract: Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) has traditionally been hi
 ndered by the need for complex\, manual post-correlation calibration to co
 rrect for instrumental\, geometric\, and propagation-related errors. Unlik
 e connected-element interferometers\, this process is often left to the fi
 nal user and requires significant expertise in both specialized software a
 nd procedures. While some calibration pipelines exist\, they all require m
 anual supervision and prior knowledge of the observed data. This reliance 
 on user supervision creates a critical bottleneck for modern large-scale p
 rojects involving thousands of radio sources. To address this\, we present
  VIPCALs: a fully automated\, end-to-end calibration pipeline for continuu
 m VLBI data that operates without human intervention or a priori informati
 on on the dataset. Developed in AIPS using ParselTongue\, VIPCALs reproduc
 es the standard calibration workflow in a fully unsupervised mode\, handli
 ng everything from data preprocessing and reference antenna selection to f
 inal diagnostics. Validated on a representative sample of 1000 VLBA datase
 ts of radio-loud AGN from the Search for Milli-Lenses (SMILE) project\, th
 e pipeline demonstrates that fully automated VLBI processing is feasible\,
  delivering science-ready products in record time. Furthermore\, VIPCALs o
 pens the door to the systematic calibration of decades of archival data\, 
 broadening access to VLBI science for the wider astronomical community.
