We lost 1100-1230UT due to problems with the formatter. This was repaired, but at about 1330UT the formatter died again, so we are currently stopped (1340UT). More news as soon as possible

Lost 11:00 - 13:30 due to a wrong switch setting. OK after that.

We did not expect to be able to participate in this experiment since our receiver was installed on the morning of 21/10/96. We got the system checked out and ready to start observing scan at 12:16:50 UT. First few seconds of this scan may be bad since IFD was set to nor,nor instead of nor,alt. Weather clear throughout. Tapes WSRT3252 and MPIR0266 shipped to Bonn on 28/10/96 via Woodcroft.
