Westerbork (Tony Foley at Thu Jun 20 05:55:36 EDT 1996) Success
We used a true single-dish setup, with telescope RT8.
Use the position of RT8 for correlating, not the tied-array.
Telescope pointing from the field system.
Phasecal injection via the 8X dipole input.
Onsala (John Conway at Thu Jun 20 09:06:22 EDT 1996) Success
No known Problems
Jodrell (David Henstock at Fri Jun 21 09:22:10 EDT 1996) Minor failures
Generally succesful, but with the following problems:
1) Field system crashed at both 03:22 UT and 11:15 UT, and the
scan or two following the crashes may have been lost.
2) More seriously, the IFD distributor was incorrectly set to
NOR-NOR (rather than NOR-ALT) during the following time ranges
11:31-12:05 UT, 13:18-13:27 UT, and finally from
13:53 until the end of experiment (i.e. the whole of the last tape).
You will have no useful data in the even channels during these periods.
Noto (Corrado Trigilio at Wed Jun 26 05:18:34 EDT 1996) Minor failures
Some power failures; bbc13 unlocked from 171/15:58 to 171/17:29.
No other problems reported.
Urumqi (Lee Suqin at Tue Jul 2 01:53:39 EDT 1996) Success
Success no problems found. It was clear. clock offset =0.4 /-0.5us. Tsys=313K; effective factor=49.5%; cal temp=67K. No phase cal for 6 cm receiver.
Simeiz (Alexandre Volvatch at Tue Jul 2 06:14:21 EDT 1996) Minor failures
8 passes (03:05,03:22,03:39,04:03,04:21,04:38,04:56,05:13)
were omited because source behind the hill.
We are late on 16 sources (11:49-14:04) due to short interval
adopted in programm for RT movement from old source to new one.
Please, take into account that in our case the North is the
cable wrap direction.
We had problems with pass of head (15:19,15:34). We had problems
with vacuum (17:21).
Calibration (Fredrik T Rantakyro at Thu Oct 3 11:54:07 EDT 1996) Minor failures
