I started up a Tsys check using Virgo-A the night before observing, but the source change to 3C345 did not happened as planned, so we lost the first 7.5min (070000-070730) There was also a strong EMI signal (GLONASS?) at around 0713UT. The telescope control computer gave problems from 1400-1416UT, losing the ends of the scan 1353-1406.

Onsala (Antonis Polatidis at Wed Mar 5 10:03:19 EST 1997) Success

No known problems. Source VX SGR was observed until 0835UT, it was below the telescope elevation limit afterwards.

Jodrell (Alastair Gunn at Tue Mar 18 16:11:06 MET 1997) Success

No known problems. Very bad interference.

Calibration (Fredrik T Rantakyro at Thu May 8 11:39:23 METDST 1997) Success

The ANTAB file for the experiment has been placed on VLBEER in the Feb97 directory with the name gm31.antab. This file contains the preliminary calibration results and may be updated when I receive updated information from the telescopes and the results from the datareduction of the calibration experiments.
