Due to very high winds we were not able to observe at all. Sorry !

VC11 problems

Westerbork (Tony Foley at Tue Mar 4 07:09:52 EST 1997) Minor failures

Problems with the telescope pointing computer caused loss of scans at 0938-0951UT and 1504-1513UT. There was also an intense GLONASS interference covering the whole band at about 1030UT.

Shanghai (Huang Xinyong at Wed Mar 5 05:29:28 EST 1997) Success

Clock offset = 0.66-0.67 msec. No problems, weather fine.

Jodrell (Alastair Gunn at Tue Mar 18 15:50:34 MET 1997) Success

No major problems. Very bad interference.

Cambridge (Alastair Gunn at Tue Mar 18 16:01:44 MET 1997) Minor failures

Late on source due to FS problems at start of experiment - first target missed. FS re-started at 13:40, data lost for probably half an hour prior to this. IF A and C swapped at 09:53 to extend band. Prior to this a limited band was being recorded (Cambridge IF link into VLBI is very complex). Please ignore TRACKING SLEWING errors - Cambridge FS not connected to data link.

Calibration (Fredrik T Rantakyro at Thu May 8 11:36:20 METDST 1997) Success

The ANTAB file for the experiment has been placed on VLBEER in the Feb97 directory with the name em25b.antab. This file contains the preliminary calibration results and may be updated when I receive updated information from the telescopes and the results from the datareduction of the calibration experiments.

MPIfR (Walter Alef at Wed Jan 7 12:15:03 MET 1998) Minor failures

Crimea, Onasla and Noto did not observe. Wrong pol at Urumqi. Lot of time lost at Cambridge. Rest: standard recording problems (sse CAL).
