same antenna problem from 05:53 untill 06:02

Onsala (Antonis Polatidis at Sun Feb 23 18:23:41 EST 1997) Success

No known problems. Strong winds 9-11 m/s but no rain.

Effelsberg (dgraham at Mon Feb 24 03:32:13 EST 1997) Success

OK.

Westerbork (Tony Foley at Mon Feb 24 11:00:09 EST 1997) Minor failures

Telescopes shadowing one another at 0511UT. Head positioning problems for passes 23 and 24 at 10:26 to 10:54UT. Tape changed late (operator error) lost the first 2 scans of the second tape 11:12 to 11:41UT, and tape ran off the reel at ~11:57UT. The tape was restarted at 14:39

Shanghai (Huang Xinyong at Wed Mar 5 04:59:50 EST 1997) Minor failures

Clock offset = 0.23-0.25 msec. Following scans were missed because of the antenna trouble. UT:04:30-06:42:40 8 scans and 06:45:20-06:50:15 half scan. Weather overcast.

Jodrell (Alastair Gunn at Wed Mar 5 11:52:09 EST 1997) Success

No known problems. Tapes WSRT3165,5120 and NSFF0081,4DD7 sent to Bonn via woodcroft on 24/02/97.

Cambridge (Alastair Gunn at Wed Mar 5 12:03:22 EST 1997) Minor failures

No major problems. FS crashed at about 13:02 UT, missed scan 9, restarted from scan 10. Tlescope parked due to high winds between 13:50 and 14:30. Tapes NSFF0094,F5B6 and MEDI3090,6E20 sent to Bonn via woodcroft on 24/02/97.

Calibration (Fredrik T Rantakyro at Thu May 8 11:36:09 METDST 1997) Success

The ANTAB file for the experiment has been placed on VLBEER in the Feb97 directory with the name em25a.antab. This file contains the preliminary calibration results and may be updated when I receive updated information from the telescopes and the results from the datareduction of the calibration experiments.

Crimea, Noto did not observe. No fringes with Urumqi. Time lost for Wb due to operator errors. Rest with known problems.
