Experiment Feedback
Jodrell (Alastair Gunn at Thu Feb 20 12:47:06 EST 1997) Failure
Did not observe due to engineering constraint.
JIVE (mauro medicina at Thu Feb 20 13:35:47 EST 1997) Success
Total success, the sky clear all the time
Effelsberg (dgraham at Fri Feb 21 04:09:58 EST 1997) Minor failures
elevation drive failed 1800 to 1940
Westerbork (Tony Foley at Fri Feb 21 08:38:27 EST 1997) Minor failures
Online computer system crashes ar 1500, 1505 and
1511 UT. Data around these times will be corrupt.
Westerbork (tony foley at Fri Feb 21 08:43:51 EST 1997) Minor failures
scans before 1313 were outside our hour angle range
Onsala (Antonis Polatidis at Sun Feb 23 08:58:02 EST 1997) Minor failures
Due to high winds we were able to record only the last hour, UT 1708-1744. The tape was left running during the whole of the experiment to get feedback on the record quality. Note that we have turned the precision plate by 180 deg.
Shanghai (Huang Xinyong at Wed Mar 5 04:55:28 EST 1997) Success
Clock offset = 0.08 - 0.09 msec. No problems, weather fine.
Urumqi (Lee Suqin at Tue Mar 18 14:00:50 MET 1997) Failure
no data was recorded as head was being replaced, but a dummy log
was put into the EVN account.
Calibration (Fredrik T Rantakyro at Thu May 8 11:34:28 METDST 1997) Success
The ANTAB file for the experiment has been placed on VLBEER in the
Feb97 directory with the name c97c1b.antab. This file contains the
preliminary calibration results and may be updated when I receive
updated information from the telescopes and the results from the
datareduction of the calibration experiments.
