Onsala (John Conway at Mon Feb 19 08:07:31 EST 1996) Minor failures

Slow slewing in East direction due to antenna fault (3deg/min) but sufficient to keep up with schedule. Phase cals switched off had fault causing large signals in some channels increasing Tsys.

Jodrell (Dave Henstock at Thu Feb 22 06:26:19 EST 1996) Minor failures

Bad interference during experiment (especially VCs 9,10, but also 7,8). Due to RFI, Tsys measurements only crudely calibrated. Specific problems: Day 42 12:34 and 13:36 RFI noted as being particularly bad. 22:10-22.33 Field system crash resulting in scan(s) between these times been lost. Tsys is in Jy, need to multiply measured Tsys by 1.23 for better calibration.

Cambridge (Dave Henstock at Thu Feb 22 06:31:36 EST 1996) Minor failures

Note there are no Tsys measurements for Cambridge. Possibility that Cambridge formatter clock was out by a few seconds (not noticed until day 44). Specific Problems: Day 42 08:00-11:29 Problem starting schedule. All data will have been lost until about 10:00 Maybe some data between 10:00 and 11:29 but probably not. 14:24-14:37 Lost scan whilst checking field system. ~17:15-17:38 and ~20:29-20:48 and 22:33-22:40 and 23:50-00:00(end) Field System crashed, scans between these times will have been lost. Tsys is 212 Jy (from EVN status).

Experiment carried out successfully, at least apparently.
