Example EVN schedule files
In order to make creating a schedule easier, some template keyin files have been created for use with SCHED. These cover most potential EVN observing modes (spectral line, polarisation, etc) and contain a full complement of calibration sources that should ensure a successful experiment. All files include phase-referencing! It should be quite straightforward to edit these files for your own purposes, but users are strongly encouraged to look very carefully at the EVN PI instructions sheet to ensure that their schedule conforms with EVN recommendations.
- evn_cont_strong.key - bright continuum source, recording at 128 Mb/s.
- evn_cont_weak_256.key - weak continuum source, recording at 256 Mb/s.
- evn_cont_weak_512.key - weak continuum source, recording at 512 Mb/s.
- evn_cont_weak_1Gbps.key - weak continuum source, recording at 1 Gb/s. This is only possible using recording on disks. Sched will take care of this providing that a disk-recording version of the station catalogue file (stations.dat) is used.
- evn_cont_strong_pol.key - strong continuum source, polarisation mode, recording at 128 Mb/s.
- evn_cont_weak_snap.key - weak continuum sources, snapshot mode, recording at 256 Mb/s.
- evn_line_hi.key - spectral line (HI) source, recording at 128 Mb/s.
- evn_line_meth.key - spectral line (Methanol) source, recording at 32 Mb/s.
